MUNA 2026 Publication
A special commemorative publication celebrating the voices, stories and scholarship of our community — launching alongside the MUNA 2026 Conference.
About the book
Through deeply personal accounts, the book captures how nurses and midwives navigated the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic while balancing demanding clinical and care responsibilities, family life, faith, personal wellbeing and the realities of living through COVID-19 themselves. These stories highlight the resilience, compassion, leadership and contribution of Malawian nurses and midwives who continued to serve patients, residents, families and communities during one of the most challenging periods in modern healthcare history. It is our hope that these stories will inspire reflection, learning and pride, while encouraging future generations to continue building on this legacy.
Authors
The MUNA 2026 publication is authored by members of our conference team — nurses and leaders whose work and reflections shape the book.
